It seems kind of silly to have to ask the question, "is that a bedroom?" when you see what obviously looks like one. Our friend, you might just be surprised that what you see might NOT be a bedroom
1000 Life Hacks
Because we like to share useful things here on The Shields Team blog, today, we want to throw out one of our favorite websites, and know it's going to become one of yours, too!
Not sure if you've ever heard of it, but there is a killer website on the net if you like 'hacker' type things. We're not talking 'hacker' in the sense that someone is going to 'hack' you; invade your computer or privacy. In this instance of hacking, we're talking about best ways to do things that you might not ordinarily think of. Cool best ways. If you want to take a look at some of those, simply go to 1000hacks.com, and let the fun begin!
Below are a couple of random samples from the site, pretty darn cool:
#90-Store your can opener in the freezer to keep it from rusting
#88-Coat your eggs with mineral oil. This will extend their life in the fridge for an additional couple of weeks.
#68-When you're on an elevator, press the close door button and the floor number button to go there without stopping.
#66-Trace your child's foot on a blank piece of paper. Take this with you when you go shopping without them in case you find a great deal on shoes.
#43-Use an empty Pringles can to store spaghetti in your cupboard.
#38-Punch holes in your empty water bottle and attach it to your hose to water garden plants.
#33-Place a bucket of water in the middle of a room when you're painting. This will help absorb some of the paint smell.
See what we mean?! It's addictive, for sure. We hope you'll go on over there and check these out! And, we would be amiss if we didn't invite you to visit us on the web when you get finished browsing. We'd love opportunity to show you any property in the area; and we won't need a hack to do that, *smile. Give us a call at the office, (423) 433-6517 to set up an appointment to see how we do it!
