It seems kind of silly to have to ask the question, "is that a bedroom?" when you see what obviously looks like one. Our friend, you might just be surprised that what you see might NOT be a bedroom
New Study Suggests Green Buildings Can Actually Make You Smarter
There's a new study out from researchers at Harvard, Syracuse University, and SUNY that living or working in a "green" building can actually make you more intelligent. Yes, we smiled too.
In a study designed to reflect environments that are occupied by large numbers of people, researchers found that green building designs have some very positive effects on employee productivity. Participants in the study were studied in a lab for a total of 6 days; residing in an environment that had controlled air quality mirroring that of a regular office building, a green office building, and a green office building with enhanced ventilation. Participants performed at a rate of 61 percent higher on the cognitive tests in the greener building condition, and 101 percent higher in the enhanced green building condition compared to a typical office environment.
This study examined several other aspects of working in a green environment, with many other positive outcomes. It seems there is definitely benefit to not only going green, but for working green as well.
