Johnson City Police Officer Thomas Garrison is wearing a big smile in this photo. Not only is he a proud owner of a new home, he's the proud owner of a new home that was part of the Homes for Heroes® program. The Homes for Heroes® program offers a reward to heroes in communities across the country who serve in various roles, such as Military personnel, Police/Peace Officers, Firefighter and First Responders. Teachers and doctors are also among the eligible community heroes who qualify for the reward. Mr. and Mrs. Garrison received a $1,485 reward after closing on their recent new home purchase.

The Homes for Heroes® not only benefits qualified buyers, but sellers as well. Under the program, qualified sellers are also eligible to receive rewards on home selling fees and on other services. Homes for Heroes® is an organization that was formed after the tragic events of 9/11 as a way to say “Thank You” to the heroes of our nation.
Community heroes like Mr. Garrison who qualify for the program can get more information about the program by visiting www.homesforheroes.com.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Garrison! Our best wishes for many wonderful years in your new home!
